GRONDONA: 'THE SOLUTION TO MESSI'S PROBLEM IS SAYING HE STAYS IN SPAIN'

Grondona: 'Everything the world recognises, the Argentinians want to destroy. The solution to this problem is he turns around and says he won't come to play for La Albiceleste anymore'

'Messi was born, lived and started playing in Rosario. He then moved to Barcelona, where his growth problems were solved. The Barça family accepted him as one of their own'

'Spain wanted to select him for their National Team, but Leo refused and chose to play for Argentina. We need to think about this'

- It seems obvious not everyone respects the best player on Earth back in his home country, but Leo is turning public opinion around. Success is the only way to turn the situation around: Winning the Copa America seems vital.

I support Messi in whatever his target is. I fully understand he wants to lead Argentina to glory. I have no doubts he can succeed: He just needs to be given time and confidence.

THE LITTLE GIANT, THE GENIUS, LA PULGA: LIONEL ANDRES MESSI, GO GO GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Instead of always rubbishing him, the Argentine fans should be thankful that Messi chose to play for them. Given that it would have eliminated all the extra travel he has to do, I would have preferred it had Messi chosen to play for Spain.

  3. All the Argentina fans gave Leo a standing ovation before the game in Cordoba, and sang his name throughout.

As for Grondona, he should just STFU. No-one's interested in what he has to say.

Leo's response to Grondona's words, yesterday: "Although I get criticized, I will always come to the national team. I come because I always want to play and I will not change because of what the press say.” Viva La Pulguita! <3 Aguante Argentina! <3

Leo would NEVER play for Spain. End of. He will focus on first winning the Copa, then the World Cup, with his beloved Argentina. Vamos La Albiceleste! <3
