Pep Guardiola has confirmed the Barça 2011/12 squad is closed after the signings of Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas.
Many Cule fans have been demanding a central defender for months. To be honest, I think that position is well-covered and we don’t need to sign anybody:
Pique, Abidal, Fontas are all fit and experienced in that position.
Puyol should be coming back soon (I can’t wait for his return, the team misses his courage and leadership badly!)
Mascherano and even Busquets can also fill in if injuries attack our back-line during the season.
