Leo Messi, the biggest star in Barça Planet >> includes FC Barcelona Video

With most of the media attention going to Mourinho's Madrid dirty behaviour, I am afraid we may forget what really matters: FOOTBALL AND GOALS.

Leo Messi performed like a medieval knight when he, literally, won the Supercopa for FC Barcelona with his electric movements on the pitch, his unique goalscoring ability when things turn ugly.

To be honest, it's very difficult to write an article about Messi: Most of the words I can think to describe the Argentinian wizard have already been used in many occasions. La Pulga's greatness is such that words can't explain how important he is to our Barça team.

So let's focus on some facts:

- Messi is now the 2nd ever blaugrana goalscorer in El Clasico with 13 goals in only 15 matches. Only Cesar is ahead of Leo, with 14 goals in 26 matches against Real Madrid.

- Messi is now the top goalscorer EVER in La Supercopa with 8 goals, ahead of Raul (7) and Stoitchkov and Txiki (6)

- Messi has now scored 99 goals in the Camp Nou, his FC Barcelona total is 183.

- Messi has now won 16 official titles with Barça:

La Liga: 5
2004–05, 2005–06, 2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11

Copa del Rey: 1

UEFA Champions League: 3
2005–06, 2008–09, 2010–11

Supercopa de España: 5
2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011

UEFA Super Cup: 1

FIFA Club World Cup: 1

Oh! And the best is yet to come: La Pulga's ambition doesn't seem to have limits. FC Barcelona have the biggest superstar in world football, but he continues to behave like an ordinary, humble person with a huge desire to succeed.

  1. Leo is simply the best, and he's still improving, as incredible as that is. He not only scores great goals -- and he's becoming more direct, stronger -- but also gives awesome assists, tracks back, fights for the ball, fools defenders, and has a great spirit and attitude. He never hides, never dives, never shirks responsibility. During both of these Clasicos, he really showed Mourinho who's boss. ;) I loved the way he interacted with Mou who was like a misbehaving little brat on the sidelines. Leo was the adult. Visca el Rei Lionel! <3 Viva La Pulguita! <3

Leo's mentally stronger than ever and if he's taught a thing or two to his friend Masche about passing etc(which he has), Masche has taught him a few things about bullying defenders and keeping the ball and fighting for it, and winning it back. He's going deeper than ever on the pitch. A latigazo, a playmaker, a top scorer, an incredible talent. With no fear. And a great guy. <3 We love you, Leo. <3 :)
