Real Madrid – Barça >> Match Report

FC Barcelona managed to get a good 2-2 result from the Barnabeu stadium in the away match of the 2011/12 Spanish Supercopa.

I didn’t like the first half at all, with Barça unable to control the ball as they have over the last few seasons. Pep Guardiola left Xavi, Busquets and Pique on the bench which didn’t help in terms of possession. As a result, Ozil scored pretty early in the game.

Despite this fact though, the team kept fighting well and got their reward: David Villa scored a cracking goal from outside the area, Leo Messi dribbled Pepe The Psycho and friends to get our second before the halftime break.

The second half started better, with Thiago and Keita wanting the ball a bit more and players like Iniesta applying more sense in midfield.

Real Madrid, as usual, didn’t give up and Xabi Alonso got the second goal for Los Blancos.

All in all, a good result for the return match at the Camp Nou.
