– That’s the spirit that we want La Masia youngsters to have: Humble, hard-working and confident on their own abilities. The season is long, injuries do happen (far too many times for my liking!) and there is always a place for a new player to come in and do the job for us.
If there has ever been a Barça coach who has trusted young players, that is Pep Guardiola. Fontas needs to focus on learning from Puyol, Abidal, Pique and ensure he’s ready for the challenge when it comes his way.
