The problem is our club continues to pay the players wages, getting no monetary reward in exchange, while FIFA, RFEF and the like are raising money for their respective national pockets – In Spain’s case calling NINE players at once!!!!
And, wait for it…. In the last 4 years, FC Barcelona players have missed up to 288 days of training!!!
– It is outrageous to see how clubs have no power to withdraw their players from an international call-up. You may argue that they can, but the uproar this may cause would harm both the player’s and our club’s reputation.
