– After all the fuss about his signing, I was unsure of the impact of Cesc in the Pep Team. Don’t get me wrong, I knew he’d add to the squad, but his connection with Messi is amongst the best I’ve ever seen in world football.
Cesc has 5 goals and 4 assists to his name in just 9 appearances for Barça – I’m expecting even more from him, starting against Sevilla tomorrow. Yes, he’s just back to full training and has a history of hamstring injuries but he will only regain match fitness by competing against others. If he’s fit enough for the doctors, he’s fit enough to play!
