A Catalan study has discovered that Leo Messi and Bojan Krkic are actually cousins (And no, it’s not a joke!)
Apparently, Messi’s great-great-grandfather was Bojan’s great-great-grandfather’s brother. Their parents got married back in 1856!!!
It has also been reported that Leo’s family emigrated from Catalunya to Argentina in the early 1900s.
– If this is true, it is clear both players have some sort of footballing genes floating around their DNA.
Luckily for Barça though, we kept the best player out of the whole family at the Camp Nou!!! (All the other one seems to do at Roma is visit the Colisseum and rubbish his old coach using the media)
