Barça don't have a starting eleven yet >> Read My Mind

Guardiola: 'How can I not be happy with the spectacular show that the 22 players put on for us? Everyone enjoyed this marvelous game thanks to these very good players. This was an ode to football'

Guardiola: 'How can I not be happy with the spectacular show that the 22 players put on for us? Everyone enjoyed this marvelous game thanks to these very good players. This was an ode to football'

Guardiola: 'We knew what type of game it would be from the first minute, it’s an honour that the players knew how to interpret it. There are few days where I can be prouder of my players. They completely understood the requirements of the match... It’s means a lot to come here and have the opposing team only reach your area three times'

Guardiola: 'I told Bielsa that his players are beasts. I had never played against a team so intense and aggressive. Congratulations to Athletic Club, their manager, and their players for the wonderful game they played.”

- Here's the thing: Yes, it was a tough match against a team who fought every ball under torrential rain and I am proud of the way our Barça players stepped up to the challenge.

Having said that, I don't understand why Adriano was preferred over Villa and Alexis in the starting lineup. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against our Brazilian player (he has improved lots this season) but I honestly don't feel he was the best choice for such a difficult match.

Guardiola had a very clear eleven last season which fans could even recite from memory: That's not the case now. For example, Mascherano has come into the team during Puyol's absence and done so well he seems to have kept the place in defense despite El Capitano being fit again.

Injuries aren't helping either. Rotations have not been a choice but a necessity. Please note I'm not using this as a excuse, I'm simply stating a fact. What impact is Alexis having on the team? Would Afellay help at this point? Why isn't Pedro scoring as much this year? It's hard to tell, isn't it?

At this point, our players needs us more than ever. We need to stand by them, we don't have a choice.

LET'S SUPPORT THE TEAM, THEY HAVE BEEN MAKING US HAPPY FOR YEARS!!!
