A fit Iniesta means success. Two seasons ago, Barça were knocked out by Inter in the Champions League semis because of his absence: Nobody was able to break the Italian defense. If Xavi is Barcelona’s commander and Messi is our deadly weapon, Iniesta is the genie who can open all doors.
As for the Ballon d’Or, I feel it is ridiculous that Cristina Ronalda is ahead of Don Andres, considering how important Iniesta has been in Barça’s incredible year (Liga, Champions and Club World Cup winners!) What has Ronalda achieved? He has 23,000 goals against Rayo Vallecano and Ponferradina. WHO CARES?!??!
