Barça can’t afford any mistakes against Milan >> Culé Talk

Pedro: ‘Tuesday’s game against Milan, in the return leg of the quarter-finals of the Champions League, is the most important so far, it will be a tough game’

Pedro: ‘AC Milan won’t make things easy for us and we’ll have to play really well. Milan has great players, they’re a great team and they’ll make things difficult for us. We may dominate the game, but you can never be overconfident, because at any time they can change the scoreline’

Pedro: ‘As for myself, I’m feeling good both in training and in games. I’m lacking the coolness in front of goal that I had in previous years, and perhaps that’s what I need to get back to be in the starting line-up. I am eager to help the team. The manager has the final say as to whether I’m in the starting eleven, but I will always be here to help the team, because the most important thing is to get the victory, and go through’

– The Champions League tie against AC Milan shapes as our most vital game of the season. By drawing in Milan, we have put ourselves in a good position to progress. However, as Pedro has said, the job is far from complete. Milan has as much attacking threat as any team in Europe and would progress with a score draw. We need to be at our absolute best if we are to achieve the desired result.

One thing in our favour is that our Camp Nou playing surface is infinitely better than San Siro’s. The support of the home crowd will also be a positive. The crowd needs to get behind the team and help them achieve the victory we all covet.

I am reasonably optimistic as our team has usually risen to big occasions over the last few years. The team must do it again this time. Hopefully, we will be all be celebrating our progress to the semi finals at fulltime.
