  1. Robin van Persie could be on his way out of Arsenal after refusing to sign a new contract.

Van Persie said: 'This is an update for the fans about my current situation. I have kept quiet all this time out of respect and loyalty for the club and as agreed with Mr Gazidis and Mr Wenger, but since there is so much speculation in the media, I think it is fair for you guys to know what’s really going on at the moment.

As announced earlier this year I had a meeting with the boss and Mr Gazidis after the season. This was a meeting about the club’s future strategy and their policy. Financial terms or a contract have not been discussed, since that is not my priority at all.

'I personally have had a great season but my goal has been to win trophies with the team and to bring the club back to its glory days.

'Out of my huge respect for Mr Wenger, the players and the fans I don’t want to go into any details, but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward.

'I’ve thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract. You guys, the fans, have of course the right to disagree with my view and decision and I will always respect your opinions.

    - As I have explained in the past, signing Van Persie would be a huge boost for Barcelona. While we don't desperately need him, it would improve the quality of our attack dramatically.

Wake up Sandro, go for it!

  2. Barcelona-bound left-back Jordi Alba feels he is capable of playing for Spain at the Olympic Games in London.

    - Preselecting Jordi Alba for the Olympics is obviously a right the Spanish National team has but, to be honest, it won't help him adapt to Barcelona or prepare the season ahead as well as he could have done.

While this is not a tragedy, I would prefer Alba to adapt to our club!

  3. The father of Xavi has revealed that Spain captain Iker Casillas got into trouble with Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho because of his friendship with the Barcelona midfielder.

    - Mourinho is a poor man. He may be a coach who can get results but will never be remembered as someone who improved the game of football.

Complaining because the best player in your club's history (Iker Casillas) is friends with a Barcelona player is simply ridiculous.

Last time I checked, Spain is a free country where people can make their own decisions about their private lives!

  4. One of the most interesting things I have read recently is the report of how Xavi and Casillas's friendhship, together with Del Bosque's intervention, prevented the Spanish team from imploding. This was to Xavi and Iker's credit who both showed that being a decent person transcends bitter rivalries. Trying to end a life-long friendship does refect well on Mou.

True talk, the special 5 is a coach that always after result.he does not care how the result could be acheived either through good or bad play.his personal attitude is also bad,he always look for excuses whenever he lost.he does not accept defeat.
