Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi won't miss the chance to shine against Manchester City

Despite the shocking loss against Malaga, there is no reason to doubt that Barcelona will dig deep and give Manchester City a run for their money on Tuesday. Don't get me wrong, the 0-1 defeat in La Liga on Saturday was a step back in the fight for the domestic title but, ultimately, the Champions League is a complete different ball-game which Barca have been looking forward to for months.

Lionel Messi, Neymar, Andres Iniesta and the rest of the Blaugrana squad will do everything within their power to take centre-stage in Europe's biggest competition in a desperate attempt to prove doubters wrong. The opportunity to defeat an ultra-rich British side coached by Mauricio Pellegrini and starring former La Liga stars such as Sergio Aguero or Yaya Toure is far too attractive to be missed.

Luis Suarez also has a point to prove, following the criticism received since his departure from Liverpool and his infamous actions during the World Cup finals. His goalscoring tally hasn't really taken off at the Camp Nou yet but those who know the Uruguayan striker know he would love the chance to kick-start the tie against City with a bang.

Now it's your turn: Do you trust Luis Enrique's men to bounce back in style?

  2. Efe: I would definitely include Mascherano in the ideal eleven, either at CB or holding midfielder...
