Paul Pogba, without a doubt, will be the world’s greatest central midfielder within five years time. The 21 year-old Frenchman is the perfect model of a modern day central midfielder. The Juventus man is wanted by virtually every European super club and would be a perfect fit for Barcelona.

While Barcelona’s attack is probably the best in the world, the midfield which was the key part of the team during Pep Guardiola’s golden years is growing old.
Rakitic needs a midfield partner whom he can gel with for years to come, Pogba is the perfect choice. The Frenchman has scored nine goals while assisting five more in 30 appearances for the Bianconeri. He averages an astounding 7.68 average rating and completes an impressive 83.7% of his passes. His defensive statistics are very impressive, averaging 2.3 tackles per game, while being dribbled past only 0.8 times per game. Another mind-boggling dribbling statistic is Pogba’s 2.8 dribbles past an opponent per game.
Barcelona can’t sign any players until January 2016, but Pogba appears to be staying in Turin for the time being, with his agent declaring just that. In order to purchase Pogba, the Blaugrana would likely have to break the world record transfer fee, but it would be well worth it.
As supported by everything above, Paul Pogba would be the perfect signing for FC Barcelona.
