Barcelona 6-0 Getafe | All goals and highlights | La Liga 2015

Barcelona achieved a commanding 6-0 victory against Getafe at the Camp Nou in Matchday 34 of La Liga. Lionel Messi (brace), Luis Suarez (brace), Neymar and Xavi Hernandez scored the goals for the Blaugrana, who enjoyed 76 percent of possession, created 20 goalscoring chances and attempted 18 shots, 12 of them on target.

Luis Enrique was thrilled with his team's performance, understandably:

“I don’t remember ever seeing a game with quite so many spectacular goals. When the team is as effective as that, they’re unstoppable.”

“I want to congratulate the team. Things could have turned difficult today but the players resolved the situation in the best possible way”.

“Who can guarantee that we’ll keep up this high standard of play? Football can produce all kinds of surprises”

“We’re not going to start taking it easy. We know there are still four games left to play. Are we’re up against a very dignified opponent in Real Madrid.”

“We’re not thinking about what might happen, we’re thinking about doing everything possible to make sure it happens.”

“We don’t only have a team that creates goalscoring opportunities. We also know how to defend. There is the attacking side to what we do, but also the defensive side.”

“There is still room for improvement. I don’t doubt that we can still get better. But I don’t remember ever seeing so many great goals in the same game.”

  1. yet again you are giving too much credit for Enrique for this win, to see his contribution to this win, look at his substitutes in the second half, the match tactics were non existent. if we play to his strategy we will be hammered by Bayern again.

    1. Barcelona were leading 5-0 after just 40 minutes so, unquestionably, the coach was right to make substitutions to rest key players in light of the games ahead.

Bayern are a fantastic side and, although I could obviously be wrong, I seriously doubt Barcelona will get 'hammered' this time around.
