It only took 15 minutes but Jose Arnaiz continued his perfect shooting record as he put Barcelona 1-0 up at Estadio Balaidos after a stellar pass from Andre Gomes on Thursday night.
The Talavera-born player featured in both legs of the previous Copa del Rey tie against Real Murcia, the first as a starter and the return in the Camp Nou as a substitute.
Arnaiz managed to score a goal in each game with his only shot on goal; a trend that continued in Vigo, making him the first player in Barcelona history to score three from their first three shots. More here.
Mina wants immediate Barcelona move, Palmeiras confirm | FourFourTwo
Yerry Mina has requested a transfer to Barcelona as it is the defender’s dream to play for the Catalan giants, Palmeiras sporting director Alexandre Mattos has confirmed.
“I spoke with Mina, who says he has big dreams and that now is the time to leave,” Mattos said. Now that we know his desire, it’s time to reach an agreement with Barcelona. If they come to us with the figure we have asked for, Mina will go. If not, he’ll stay at Palmeiras.”
Palmeiras are reportedly holding out for €11million for Mina, with Barca having agreed to pay €9m for the 23-year-old following Russia 2018. More here.

Barcelona winger Arda Turan is in talks over a possible move to the MLS with Chicago Fire.
The 30-year-old is surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou as Barcelona look to offload around eight players from their squad, to offset their prospective signings Philippe Coutinho, Antoine Griezmann and Yerry Mina.
Turkey international Turan has been offered to clubs in England and Italy. He has not figured for Barcelona under Ernesto Valverde this season. More here.
